Statement

These days, the internet is one of the most important communication tools in the world. The internet expands and redefines the concept of "time", "space", and even "identity“.

In the virtual world, we may feel that we can meet anyone freely, and go anywhere, at any time. However, our virtual activities are always restricted by the Internet environment, and we often suffer from connection failures.

My video work shows a situation of a video conference. They (myself in multiples) are going to talk about the topic of identity, but it doesn’t go smoothly. I keep the situation ambiguous, whether it's that the speakers don’t have ideas about the theme, or it's their natural personality, or they only have a connection failure.
